M1の米津さんがThe 7th IEEE Tokyo Young Researchers Workshopにてグロース賞を受賞しました．

本賞は，IEEE東京支部 Young Researchers Workshopにおいて発表を行った者の中から，「企業という器を通じて，関わる全ての人々がgrowth(成長・拡大・発展)できる環境を創造する」という経営理念に合致する研究発表を行った1名をスポンサー企業が選出，贈呈されます．

Title:Energy Optimal Network Topology Design Method by QoS Aware Link Power Management

Abstract:In order to realize a green transport network, a novel traffic engineering concept is introduced. By aggregating traffic into specific links and powering off router/switch interfaces, the physical network topology is dynamically optimized. In this paper, we propose a practical calculation method that can derive an energy optimal topology satisfying QoS requirements. Simulation results show that the proposed method can reduce 60% of energy consumption under 100 node network environment.
