On behalf of Keio University, we would like to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of Keio university international distinguished visiting professor, Malathi Veeraraghavan. She was a truly great professor and a wonderful researcher and so we are proud to have been her global collaborators. She often came to Keio University and had some lectures and research discussion with PhD. candidates or graduate students. She treated the students always politely and kindly with a lot of enthusiasm. Her classroom lecture was also exciting and made a lot of great impact on the Japanese students with many smiles.
