We mainly research on network architecture, protocol, switching technique, and network applications. Optical Access network using optical switch, ubiquitous Grid Networking, Scalable shortest path search algorithm, and Wide Area Layer 2 Network are the recent result obtained. We hope each achievement has the impact for the next generation optical network. Our final goal is to establish the “instant transport network”. This is a protocol that will fundamentally solve the problem that it takes a few minutes to download a site, and offer quick access to the desired contents. This protocol takes full possession of extremely wide band over a network.
